In short: to get a modelo 130 you already filed, go to the Spanish tax office's online portal, identify yourself with a digital certificate, Cl@ve or DNIe, and open **Mis expedientes**. All your filed returns are there, and you can download the PDF (the receipt with its Código Seguro de Verificación) for each quarter.
It's a three-minute task once you know where to look. Here it is laid out, with the exact path and what to do if your 130 doesn't show up.
A way to identify yourself to the tax office. Any of these three works: your digital certificate, Cl@ve (PIN or permanent) or your DNIe with a reader. Without one you can't see your returns, so have it ready before you start.
When you download one, download the whole year and keep them in a folder by quarter. The next time a bank, a grant application or your gestoría asks for a 130, you've got it in two clicks and never go back into the portal to dig for it.
Not sure what the modelo 130 is or whether you have to file it? We explain it in the glossary and, with the 70% rule, in this guide.
You need a way to identify yourself to the tax office: a digital certificate, Cl@ve (PIN or permanent) or DNIe with a reader. With any of them you enter the [online portal](https://sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es) and, under ["Mis expedientes"](https://sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es/Sede/ayuda/consultas-informaticas/otros-servicios-ayuda-tecnica/expedientes.html), view and download all your filed returns.
In the [Spanish tax office's online portal](https://sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es), under ["Mis expedientes"](https://sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es/Sede/ayuda/consultas-informaticas/otros-servicios-ayuda-tecnica/expedientes.html) or ["Consulta de declaraciones presentadas"](https://sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es/Sede/ayuda/consultas-informaticas/otros-servicios-ayuda-tecnica/consulta-declaraciones-presentadas.html) for the modelo 130 itself. Filter by year and quarter and download the PDF, which includes the Código Seguro de Verificación (CSV).
Ask them for the PDF receipt or, better, the Código Seguro de Verificación (CSV) of the return. With that code you can recover the document yourself from the [document-verification (CSV) option](https://sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es/Sede/procedimientos/ZZ05.shtml) on the tax office portal.
At least four years, which is how long the tax office can review your returns. Keeping each quarter's receipt with its CSV covers you for any check or procedure that asks for it.
